GREEN AWARDS: The winners

The most innovative projects and individuals worldwide were honoured for the 16th time at the glamorous opening of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL - the GREEN AWARDS. These four have won.

The 16th GREEN AWARDS were ceremoniously presented on the evening of June 14th, marking the beginning of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2023. The event took place at the former Berlin TXL airport site, in front of an important and prominent audience.

Around 600 invited guests celebrated the winners in the categories of INNOVATION, YOUNGSTER, START-UP and Special Achievement in a glamorous atmosphere.

In the INNOVATION category, Brilliant Planet from England emerged as the winner.

Brilliant Planet enables the growth of microalgae in open-air pond systems located in coastal desert areas. The algae absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere on a gigaton scale. This innovative method is ten times more cost-effective and faster than traditional algae producers, thus contributing to the preservation of the climate and oceans.
